Structured Data Cabling

Clean, documented cabling that gives cameras, access points, workstations and critical equipment a dependable foundation.

The challenge

Start with the outcome, not the equipment.

Network problems are often blamed on Wi-Fi or devices when the underlying cabling is poorly terminated, undocumented or no longer suitable. Unlabelled runs and crowded cabinets also make every future change slower and more expensive.

Our approach

Designed around the way your site works.

We install organised copper and fibre infrastructure around the building layout, equipment locations and expected network load. Cabling is terminated, tested and labelled, with cabinets and patching arranged so the system can be understood and maintained after handover.

What we plan for

  • CAT6, CAT6A or fibre selection for distance and performance
  • Workstations, cameras, access points, phones and specialist equipment
  • Rack position, patch panels, switches and cable management
  • Pathways, penetrations and separation from electrical services
  • Testing, labelling and allowance for growth

How the project runs

  1. Review of floor plans, equipment and outlet requirements
  2. Cable-path and cabinet design
  3. Installation, termination and labelling
  4. Testing, fault correction and handover records

Suitable properties

Where this service fits.

Offices, warehouses, factories, medical clinics, retail stores, accommodation and commercial fit-outs.

Common questions

Practical answers before you start.

Every property is different. A site assessment confirms equipment, access and installation requirements.

Should we use CAT6 or CAT6A?

It depends on run length, environment, equipment and future requirements. We recommend the appropriate cable rather than specifying CAT6A where it adds cost without practical benefit.

Can you tidy an existing network cabinet?

Yes. We can trace and label services, replace unsuitable patch leads and reorganise the cabinet to make faults and future changes easier to manage.
